The mercury switch still works too.

Also, while crawling around, I found a sizable exhaust leak! I plan to have the whole section cut out and redone but in the mean time, $5 for some exhaust pipe repair putty isn't a bad deal (and yeah, I used my new underhood light. )

Love the under hood work light
Do you have the engine bay toolbox too @AbandonedBronco (looks like ya do)...

What did you do to your bronco today?

Thanks @MS88Bronc

They fit great. A little wrinkles on the driver side where Iíve crushed the cushion but I plan on installing a new one in the near future.

BroncMom Cargo panel repaint 2.0 reboot...
Top panel is the one that got jacked up with the bad paint. This is after wet sanding and the bottom pic is unpainted, original color wet sanded and ready for paint.

Here ya go @BikerPepe` ... The after pictures...

Passenger side on the table after 1st coat. Only got 1 on because it was attracting to many gnats and was starting to look like a bug tape : these new cans of paint from krylon are taking a lot longer to dry

The drivers side should be done. We'll see tomorrow how it dries overnight.

Frank Lanzisera Put in the cruise control recall switch. My 95 had the recall done but I replaced with the new switch and took out the fused harness per Jowens 93/94-96 Cruise Control Repair.

silver70 Passenger side mirror has never stayed fully upright since I've owned the BKO. The swivel tensioner is worn out. Found a 'like new' mirror at the JY today for $10. Been keeping an eye out for this part for quite a while. Passed up plenty of dented/beat up/cracked mirrors over the years, but this one was in really good shape.

BroncMom Rubbed down with acetone, taped off, ready for next step... Primer!... And... All done after nearly gassing myself to death (thank God for fans).... Plus I managed to stay outta hubby's way
I'll get a better interior picture tomoro when it's light out.
*Last primer pic is from this morning in daylight.

BroncMom Vacuumed out the cargo area from yesterday's grind... Was too dark to get to it last night. Looks like things turned out pretty good (aside of busting tailgate handle ). Now to wash it all down, let it dry, go over it with the acetone to prep for primer, and try not to get in hubby's way while he's trying to rewire the sound system to accommodate the new amp and box speaker

After that... Go back and re wet sand my jacked up cargo panel and try this new paint krylon sent... And order my monstaliner.
Busy day

klh95bronco Got my new electric fan controller adjusted to the correct temperature and then took it for a drive. So far I am really digging the new https://www.autocoolguy.com/ fan controller.

There is nothing like a evening drive through the home town when the temp is in the mid 70's. Rolled the window down, hung my arm out and enjoyed the evening.
