What did you do to your bronco today?

Installed. What next? Hmm.

Oh, I also figured out that the Cobra 29 I installed must be fried or something. My late father in law gave it to me but he just may not have known. Put in a small backup CB for the time being until I figure out what to do.

Broke:

Works: (itís always the cheap crap that seems to work in a pinch - whenís the last time you saw a Radio Shack unit?)

66WarPony I've been fiddling with the new Flowtech headers for a couple of days now... I took the ignition coil bracket off, pressed out the stud that the support bracket mounts to, relocated it down a 1/4", welded it to the bracket and put some paint on it to keep it from rusting. I also bent the mounting bracket straight, then put a couple breaks in it so it wouldn't rub on the valve cover and drilled a new hole so that I could run the header bolt through it. Tomorrow I'll be on to the intake manifold support bracket.

More transmission progress. Woulda gotten a bit farther but my garage is unusable between noon and like 6pm due to heat and then of course when I cracked the tcase from the trans I dumped a bunch of trans fluid on my face.

I was able to get the pieces cut and welded on by my Ford welder buddy. Got 'em painted up and hanging to dry. I still have a couple small brackets to modify, but hopefully will get the bumper on in a day or two and post some pics in my build thread.

youngDUMP Installed my new neutral safety switch and fixed my reverse lights on in all gears but park problem. The plunger in the switch was stuck. I didnít get a pic of the new nss, but the brass/copper? plunger is supposed to stick out ~3/8Ē. You can see here mine was completely depressed. No good

With the new switch I only have reverse lights in reverse. HYDR

I put a similar Holley on my old 66 Mustang 302 when my Carter AFB took a dump. It used to get fuel starved on right turns (I think) when turning at an idle, even with a high vol mechanical fuel pump. Those mechanical secondaries on the Carter were awesome though.

S00TLYFE Also, CAB Unlimited Hub Centric Spacer, this keeps the weight of the vehicle from riding strictly on the wheel studs

richclas32 I don’t know how to post pictures. But I have some pretty good ones of the interior in the beginnings of the exterior.

richclas32 I’m going to try and paint my 95 Eddie Bauer. I pulled the interior out and installed kill Matt. Then I put in a new carpet. Of course then the ugly paint started to bug me… So I purchased Krylon farm and implement paint. I’m going to try my hand at spray painting.

Handy_andy_cv64 Well, you at least got through. Don't fret, if the window's down, you can access the nuts holding the window regulator tracks to the glass; remove them, then push the studs out of the holes and move the glass out of the way. Once done, there's the three bolts holding the motor to the regulator. Swap out the motor, lube the regulator pivots, including in the tracks, reattach the glass, lube the felts with silicone spray, and reassemble.

BroncMom Finally got the engine bay all cleaned up after all the work . New Edelbrock 4bbl carb, Edelbrock air cleaner, Edelbrock valve cover breather (gotta have the whole set ), new vacuum lines, new ignition system, new distributor, new starter, new starter solenoid, new smog pump, new belts, new NGK copper core plugs and new wires. Obviously not all today, but the clean up was. First pic (left) is when she came home, second pic (right) was after most of the resto, bottom pic is how she sits today after cleaning up all the unnecessary vacuum lines and wire looming all done. She getting there

nra1ifer Local Bumper to Bumper store made me a new AC high-side hose. That is the last piece that needed to be replaced in the AC system. Now it is ready for an evacuation to see if it will hold now.... old hose was leaking through the rubber.... then a good charge of R134. Won’t get to do that until next Monday at the earliest.

biggum Installed a avenger vent line and a vent whistle in my 4160 to see if it cures it off angle woes.

Not a word BigBlue! [emoji16]

The 2100 works great off road but I can feel a significant drop in power. Also having issues with the choke sticking open and not closing at start up.
