Ahusk We have a tentative schedule on the Facebook event. I will get it put together in a better format and post it on here when I can. Just some fun dunes runs with other Broncos and a low key BBQ at night is the agenda.

marshallnoise 1st, I wish my Bronco was done.

2nd, I wish I lived in Oregon.

BlackNite26 Hey I'm looking into going, I'm from eastern Washington and wondering kinda broad spectrum what to expect. We talking just a fun camping weekend with the option to blast around some dunes and trails? Want to get some more information before I commit to planning this out.

Ahusk 9 ft flag,
Fire extinguisher
And a Oregon off-road permit. 11 dollars

All of these can be easily obtained 7 days a week at a multitude of stores in Florence.

As for participation. It's just buddies getting together not an official organized event. Just show up at the specified time and place and come have fun.

fodder BTW, here's a couple of the things I looked up recently when told of the new regulations:

https://www.beachconnection.net/news...43014_1014.php

"It is important to note that places where road vehicles are allowed ATV's are not allowed – and vice versa."

https://www.oregon.gov/oprd/ATV/docs/hb_laws_rules.pdf

It sounds like a Class II ATV permit may fit the bill, but it's unclear (from that information and the person explaining the new confusion to me) if that can apply to road vehicles.

Weber Damn, wish we could make it! I miss the dunes! But, alas, Warpig is in no shape to wheel and we're already booked out that weekend... Have fun all who go!

fodder Is there any sort of registration requirement, other than for the campground itself?

I was looking at Oregon's ATV regulations for the dunes recently, having been told it's gotten a lot more complicated in recent years... Do organized events have any sort of special sanctioning, or is each participant required to figure out how to legally participate?
