That's not a bad idea, really. Feel kinda bad for you ladies with that earlier onset of night-blindness. I have been riding with Rx shades for the last decade or so now. I prefer polarized Rx lenses in a discontinued Oakley Minute frame but for night riding, I specifically get KD frames, have my script cut to fit them and have them heavily tinted with the yellow color. It cuts the glare better and allows more focus, in my experience. In the winter, they go from the bike bags into the Bronco console.

I also have been very happy in the past with yellow tinted glass spot lights on the Bronco or the bike. They work well enough for lighting up the trail or the road in the dark and cut through the occasional fog far better than bright whites. Eventually, I'd like to set them up on both again... but I'm cheap and lazy.

usually about 1000lm focused to the windshield gives them a clue.

here in PA we ARE an inspection state and I STILL get blinded, I'm light sensitive as it is so night driving is bad (i swear I'm getting a pair of those yellow shooter glasses just to drive at night)... Usually by punks in rice burners with those bright blue headlights u can see like 10 miles away... They don't check if they're set right here, just that they work : our inspections really are a joke... When i lived in nj however... They use to wheelie this board out with lines on it to make sure headlights are aligned right... I too have thought about the blinding light bar but don't think it would be too good for the health of my rig if we were both driving blind.

TheRazor375 Hmm I haven't aimed mine yet because I'm lazy and I don't drive a lot at night but after hearing that I might be motivated to get them aimed properly! Florida has no vehicle inspections so a lot of drivers have aftermarket headlights which are too bright and aimed way too high blinding everyone down the road, its the state where you wear sunglasses to drive day n night.

Been really tempted to install an LED light bar on my truck so we can have a pissing contest at red-lights.

What did you do to your bronco today?

A couple of years back I did the whole sanding process and refinishing the factory headlights and it doesn't last. They haze again in a year or less. Maybe I'll end up going to the junkyard and grab another set of factory lights, restore them and this time spray them in clear-coat.

You know, the fit was not perfect, but it was close - and Im referring to the back side where the screws hold the lights to the frame. At first I thought it was off on the front with a little space visible between the light housings, but after aiming them, that little space went away.

Harness and new zXe bulbs are in also - using the relays that came with it for now until I add the aux lights coming soon, when I’ll use better relays for these and the aux lights. Tonight I will aim the lights and post a pic of how they look at night.

EDIT:
The rain rolled in so I didn’t have a chance to aim the lights against the garage door, but here’s a pic taken in a little rain. Definitely a lot better than before! The lights are definitely white and not yellow/orange and I swear the other lights are brighter too!

Those are nice @biggum ... Does your 86 have the high back with headrest seats in it? Or are those a separate cover piece for the headrests (my seat covers are like that, separate headrest piece)...

TheRazor375 I do the same thing to my bronco everyday, put gas in it and pray it takes me to work without too much fuss!

BroncMom Ugh... Don't even wanna see cats right now... Neighbors stupid cat came over my house, puked and pissed all over my bran new carpet on my porch : puked under hubby's car in the driveway... I swear if it pisses on my rig it'll disappear real fast. Already lost a set of rims on my bravada because of a cat spraying on them all the time, NOT having the happen with my bronco's black rims. Why do people think it's ok to leave their cats outside in suburbia when there's rules against letting your animals roam... If I have to clean up after and restrain my dogs, why don't they have to with their cats : just...grrrrr

BroncMom Finally got to wash and wax my rig today... Only to notice some a$$hole put a huge scuff down the passenger side that runs all the way from the middle of the rear quarter to almost the front door jamb, so yeah... About 3 feet long : it'll probably come out with buffing compound or at worst clay bar... But wtf... Who does that crap : and to make it even better... It rains!... After my weather app said no rain till next Tuesday. Grrr...

Handy_andy_cv64 Bucky's about ten or so pounds, but since he's an indoor-only cat, the only things he kills are the plastic milk jug rings and bottle caps.

biggum Thanks. Hes cool. A 15 pound Norwegian Forest Cat. Kills and eats pretty much anything that moves around here.

GetBent4x4 Cut down the trees and vegetation miesk. Rake up the leaves too. Pour some concrete or make a gravel parking area.
