joedirt216 Thanks DCA 455, and 5.0 Bronco guy, Kammots, I've been driving by this one for years, and finally asked the guy what he was doing with, he also works with me and it was his son in laws, he said he would sell it and that was an exciting day for me!! It was this last winter and like two feet of snow, so I couldn't wait for the spring so I could bring her home.
I love my 1990 Eddie Bauer, but I've always wanted a 78-79, didn't care if it was a square or round eye, I always thought the 79' XLT was a more sought after rig?? but I'm sure glad I got this one!! Cheers

kammots Congrats, that will be such a fun project and a true classic. /jealous

CDA 455 Very nice!

joedirt216 Thanks guys, I can't wait to get going on this one, I have three vehicles to finish, 1965 Super Sport Impala a huge project with a ton of rust and panel replacement, finally got all the body work done and now it's in primer!!! a 1968 Corvette, 427 big block 4 speed, just have to paint it, and a 1972 Chevy truck, it's in real good shape, just needs a little body work and some paint. THEN the Bronco...
Anyway, I have already picked out the color for the Bronco, House of Kolor Root Beer Kandy!! It's absolutely beautiful, and has BEER in the name, and should fit the Bronco really well. Cheers!!

joedirt216 Thanks Swamp/Justright, I'll try to get the casting numbers off the block on the near future, It would be nice to know what motor it is, I'm also betting it's the 351M.

Swamp Can't tell for sure, but the VIN says it came with a 351m originally. Check the rocker cover sticker. If it's legible it will tell you what it is. Looks pretty original to me so I'd bet it's the 351M. That Bronco is super clean! Nice score.

JustRight I think the round eye Broncos are the best looking of all. Can't find one around here that's not rusted out. Good find.

Good luck with the build, and if you have any questions for a newbie who thinks out da box, dont hesitate to holler !!

joedirt216 Thanks guys, I haven't had time to do any playing around with her yet, when I picked her up, only the driver side front tire would hold air, so I had some steel wheels to swap out to get her home. I did put a battery in and most stuff worked, the wipers worked, the heater fan worked, squealed like a cat but it did turn, the turn signals etc.. I'll throw a carb on her soon and see what happens. The body is really good, no rust to speak of, and the interior is actually pretty nice, I'll try to post some photos soon. Anybody know if that lift kit is a good one?? I guess I could post it in the 78-79 Bronco field.

klh95bronco Looks like a nice project truck. Doesnt seem like there is much rust and the body looks like it is in good shape.

Nice find! Cant wait until you get it going and fixed up!!
