Blue1551 I like the big window so everyone can see the quality job that theyre doing. First hand account is the best advertising.

BikerPepe` well... to be fair, most of these new teeny cars aren't much more than a can of tuna anyway.

Blue1551 I guess that swamp cooler is not doing any good. Right now it's 85 partly cloudy with a slight breeze from the southwest. In 30 min I will be sitting on my deck with a kilt lifter, enjoying the company of my wonderful wife, you know the one who said "Yes you can get a entirely new drive train."

In fact, our heat index is higher than that in Phoenix, Dallas, Reno, Miami, St. Louis, AND Death Valley. Ah good ol sweaty Kansas summers. Only two more months until some relief

El Kabong I read that ^ & still hear Ruth Gordon's voice saying "Get off my prahpity!"

I'm guessing Pepe won't like that ancient reference.

We had a Cardinal doing that at our last house. I don't know what kept it from killing itself

I researched some and found they see their reflection in the window and think they are protecting their turf by attacking what they think is another bird. People do different things to try to keep them from seeing themselves in the window to stop it.

CJREX Speaking of birds...

BikerPepe` We loose 4 or 5 birds every year from them flying into our windows. I just can't figure out if they think they're flying into another bird just like them or if it's more of a Wile E. Coyote tunnel kinda thing.
