How about Norte Dame being ranked higher than both Florida and Georgia ( who actually beat them)Ö.. That will piss you off.

What about South Carolina cutting off pieces of the hedges from Georgia stadium and carrying them off????? Real class act!!

Yep. The SC Lamecocks (Clemsonís historical in-state rival) are what they are. Always been classless.

paul rondelli I didn't like to see LSU jumping like that either.

Weber Wow, what a rout by my Ducks! Poor Buffs didn't know what hit them.

Hopefully we can get healthy fast as this coming weekend against the Huskies is going to be a tough one, going to be a test for sure after watching them beat Arizona...

That Georgia game was great to watch, I love an upset!

Gators and Clemson both looked pretty solid

MS88Bronc Yeah that was a tough game. Meanwhile, LSU jumps THREE spots from 5 to 2 after beating a number 7 team, jumping Clemson and bumping us to 3. I can see a spot or two, but three is a bit much when you get into the top five.

Well, Clemson likes being the underdog - regular seasonís only half over anyway...

paul rondelli You can't win them all. When we score 28 points there is no way we should lose???? I have a love/hate relationship with our defensive coordinator Todd Grantham. That guy was flat out "out coached" Saturday night. It sucks when the players play well, make no mistakes, but the opponents offensive play caller is playing chess while your defensive coach is playing checkers!!!

Fun game to watch. offensive touchdowns are sexy..... But that was not the Florida Gator defense on display. It felt more like watching Texas vs Oklahoma!!!

On a side note at least we are ranked higher than Georgia!!!

SHOme I guess I should mention I am a Maryland fan. I guess they will get better or just be the easy win for the rest of the big 10

SHOme I'm watching Penn State at Iowa. Great game so far. ( Halftime)

leatherneck 1) Teams have scored points on the LSU defense. Vanderbilt scored 38 points and Texas scored 38 points. That leads me to believe that this is a big advantage for Florida.

Good point, Fla. sure whipped up on Auburn. Death Valley is a tough place to play if your not LSU.

Another good point regarding Hurts playing in a different conference than the Tough SEC conference.

The Auburn and Ala. game is this weekend too.

paul rondelli Another huge game for the Gators Saturday night at LSU. So I'm searching for anything that will make me feel better about our chances. looking for statistics that will move the confidence meter a little more... because playing in LSU at night is a HUGE ADVANTAGE. According to the odds makers it is a 14 point advantage... which I think is insane and a little disrespectful.

1) Teams have scored points on the LSU defense. Vanderbilt scored 38 points and Texas scored 38 points. That leads me to believe that this is a big advantage for Florida.

Miami scored 20 points and Kentucky scored 21 points on the Gator defense. 3 TD's is most a Gator defense has allowed all year... and when we played Auburn we just about shut them down... When LSU played Texas it was a shoot out and they allowed almost 40 points.

Joe Burrow is putting up numbers like a rock star.. But how about Jalin hurts in Oklahoma? Would he be putting up those numbers in the SEC? The level of Defense directly effects the offenses ability to move the ball... and the SEC actually plays defense. My prediction is that now LSU is starting to get into SEC play and those huge offensive numbers will start to go away (Just look what happened to Bo Nicks).

We are going to play the same pressure defense he brought against Auburn and this time I predict we do a little better. 4 sacks… multiple hurries.. and 2 interceptions will lead the Gators to a 21 to 9 victory. We will hold the tigers to 3 field goals and no touchdowns.

Eventually we will get the respect of college football and not be an underdog when we have to play Georgia.

leatherneck Sooners and Jayhawks game started with a lot of momentum with Kansas. #1 (Williams) 5'10" and 170lbs., was slippery as oil

and made some moves I've never seen. I believe Hurts himself ran for 4 TD's. They said he's been averaging 300 yards a game in passing.

Weber Man what a weird game, turnovers, stadium took forever to get pumped up, CAL has a great defense and I'm glad we finally found our groove and pulled out the win... Was hoping we'd hang 30+ on them but a W is a W
Great 3 quarter fan on the field distraction that was entertaining, one of our guys finally tackled him

Fla. looked good out there from the bit that I was able to watch, glad they took down Auburn!
10-07-2019 09:57 AM
leatherneck Yea, a lot of turnovers but Auburn wasn't able to make the best out them...just 3 pointers and the one TD.

Fla. freshman OB's fared well with respect to the TP's Fla. put on the board. Fla, fans keep the decimal level High too.
10-07-2019 06:36 AM
paul rondelli All around a good ole fashion southern beat down of Auburn. Welcome to the Swamp please leave the Freshman hipe at the door. I'm just really pissed we fumbled twice ( gave them 6 points) and tried some half ass fake punt ( gave them 7). Shutting them out would have been sooooo much better.

I can tell you one thing for certain. The Georgia fans are not feeling very good about the cocktail party now...Ö and after we stomp LSU this weekend Alabama better start game planning for that nasty defense.

Clemson put up a terrible performance at UNC - almost lost at the last second were it not for a failed 2pt conversion. It happens every year - we almost lose (or actually lose) to an unranked team and then finish strong and go to the playoffs. Iím hoping thatís the same path this year.

leatherneck Jalen Hurts did an awesome job for Oklahoma. with Texas Tec, put a lot of points on the board.

It is a treat to watch Plumlee run the ball , he is so quick and has great athleticism. I thought AL was going to have a tough time against them but

Tua And Devonta Smith were in sync...what some awesome catches and runs.

Auburn and MS.State wasn't much of a game Nix and Whitlow did well.

paul rondelli Auburn vs Miss state was a fiasco. Combined 7 turnovers and like 5 Miss state penalties in the first couple of drives. That is why you have to love college football.... you just never know. I'm still not sold on Auburn .Even after hanging 50 on State I'm left with more questions than answers. Big weekend for the Florida...3:30pm kick off in the swamp.

Time to put up or shut up. I just hope for a close... low scoring game. Putting up 50 points a game is fine out west.. but here in the SEC it should NEVER happen when we play each other.
09-27-2019 06:35 PM
leatherneck Yes, looking forward to the games. Oklahoma vs AL. would be a heck of a game.

A pharmacists at the local VA is an Auburn grad. and she follows all of their games and attends as many as she can.

It's hard to tell how the State and Auburn game will turn out, 4 and 0 and 3 and 1 for State so far. It being at Auburn will

carry in their favor.
