They're about the same size but taste a hell of a lot better. When you cook them you need MASSIVE amounts of Old Bay seasoning.

/==0=\ 01-29-2007 01:18 AM

Old Bay is what we sell the tourists

J-O Seasoning is where its at. Crack you a claw, then dip it in butter, then dip it in J-O. Yes sir, thats a crab there.

Well now thats the thing. With these dungeness we just cook em in salt water (deep ocean preferably). They dont need Old bay. So if you gotta drown something in a bunch of seasoning to make it taste good.........................then what you really like is the taste of the seasoning.

And those crabs were on average 5-6lbs. Heavy ass crab. And we were takin donations for those crab for $5 a lb. I ate so much i was poopin crabcakes.

I always just have Old Bay when I'm out in the summer. I'll try J-O

They taste A LOT better then Dungeness without any seasoning, you just add tons of seasoning to make them even better. Price wise they're about the same. In the summer a dozen the size of the ones you had would be $70 to $80, but I have family that lives on the bay so I can get a few dozen a month.

/==0=\ 01-29-2007 01:43 AM

or get some chicken necks and catch your own... aw I can't wait for summer I'm gonna get drunk and steam crabs and get laid and hang iron and go wheeling and ****in' a right it's gonna kick some serious ass!!!!

well when I had it I liked it. Little quieter then my fan set up. But if I ever do one again, ill have one of the external box type. I had an enclosed system and kinda forgot to check it the first time. ran low on water and overheated..causing a rebuild. Then i made a mistake when i mounted the heatsink for the processor and the clip broke. falling off. prompting this rebuild you see in the pic. I decided. it is good, but I have bad luck with it. So I went back to fans. Buddy uses the Thermaltake one with the seperate control box, pump etc...works great.

This was a fun drive. If I remember right it was a 5 hour drive for a trip that normally takes 70 minutes
Could only do about 25 mph untill the wind wanted to tear it apart, and the last 10 miles I had to stop like 100 times to cut branches down

Now THIS is some serious fishin' bait. I found these earlier today while splitting some wood. The tree had a dead top and these <actually there were 6 but the dog got 3> were burrowed into the dead wood and leaves that had collected in the hollow.

Here is what I saw one morning while driving to work in, I believe, September. I was so awe struck, I just had to stop and snap a few pics.
Unfortunately, the pics don't do it justice. In case you don't see what I saw that morning,
it was the way the fog stopped so abruptly in the field. I think the pic looks cool but it was awesome in person.
Plus any shot with the mountains in the background is cool.

What I think is really cool is that you didn't find it necesary to resize that pic so that anyone not usind dual 60" wide screen moniters would have to scroll just to see half the picture.

That is resized. I shrunk it by 60%. I was going to reduce it more but then I felt it would lose the effect I tried to capture.
