yup, the mecca for vette owners, was awesome seeing that much corvette history in one place
i want to make the CF cruise in to bowling green next year, gotta get the fuggin vette painted and new exhaust on it, seal up the valve covers again and slap an a/c in it first though

chevy made 44 corvette prototypes for the C4 generation, each costing $500k
11 were kept for factory testing 33 were sent for engineering testing and crash testing

due to plant tooling problems and other engineering issues it was scheduled for release in late fall of 82 but the 82 was selling so well they held off and just released the new generation as the 84, the rest of the 83's were crushed
only the one 1983 is left and it was donated to the museum by the factory so if you see an ad for an 83 for sale, the guy has his year wrong
