Even though I have owned my 86 Bronco since it was new, I am new to this forum and find it very interesting to see that other people are having problems similar to me. Without going into all of the details suffice it to say that I am convinced that I am having ecu issues. I have allways been of the understanding that when they go bad, they go bad, but i read today someone advising to look for burnt resistors. Is there a way to actually test the ecu for problems? Specifically running the fuel pump for 2 seconds with key on prior to start up? Yes, I replaced the pump, filter and relay.
