History
Picked this one up from a guy who started building it and got in over his head. It was Basically a basket case.
Less than 3 years later, here is
Mr. Big's Bio:
Freshly built 347 stroker mildly built torque maker. Scat H-beam rods and stroker kit. Very mild(SD Friendly) Camshaft. Have a crane 572 lift stashed away for after the future mass air conversion.
Currently pushing an conservatively estimated 250HP, 285TQ.
Should gain an addt'l 30-40% after mass air project.
BBK 56 mm twin throttle body to K&N Filter.
Pacesetter headers to
Custom exhaust with high flow Cat, Flow Master Series 40 muffler, and...
the piece de resistance: my one of a kind (for now)quarter panel penetrating side exit tail pipe.
Fresh AOD W/shift kit and Hughes 2600rpm stall converter.
3G alternator upgrade.
True dual battery setup with heat sink, continuous duty 200 amp relay, ignition solenoid isolator, etc.
******* style On-board air by way of vintage York compressor mounted with Scratch fabricated Bracket at former smog pump location, plumbed to removable air storage tank in back.
Coleman Integrated 5000 watt power inverter. (For on trail welding, repairs requiring power tools, dance parties, etc.)
(2) Cameras on undercarriage for viewing terrain on in dash stereo monitor while wheeling.
Ford excursion, 2005 donated front buckets.
Scotty-built steel console, Rusting naturally👍
Also made my own utilitarian winch and shackle bumper for the front to carry the smittybilt XRC 8500 winch.
A Monster rear bumper with tire carrier is currently in the beginning design stages. Guaranteed to stop a pissed off bull.
Custom 6"lift consists of Deaver leafs and coils, purpose built extended radius arms with adjustable Heim joint ends as well as custom drop brackets, all built by Karl at 1ST Rock 4X4 in N/W Tucson, king 2.0 bypass remote reservoir shocks. Delivering an Honest 16+" of travel front and rear.
35" M/T tires on Procomp black off road 15X12 wheels.
I still dig my TTB front end which is equipped W/D44, 4.56 and Posi unit.
Rear is a totally gone through 8.8 W/4.56 and Richmond Locker, equipped with only Timken Bearings and races front and rear.
Slowly but surely rubberizing the entire body.
I'm sure I forgot to list some things. Lol
It's still not nearly finished, they never ever are.
Thanks
