History
I bought this for $500 back in 2004 with a blown head gasket. I fixed it and used it for off roading fun but after a few years I decided I wanted to do a resto-mod restoration on it. I started the process with a new engine and a whole bunch of little parts from brakes to fuel to interior parts. Then I lost my job and moved from Texas to Illinois and it had to sit for many years. Finally I am ready to get back to work and hope it is still a solid truck to work with.

Modifications

Drivetrain
New 351 from engine shop in Houston, developed a lack of compression issue on 2 cylinders after the warranty expired so that is an issue to deal with now.
Interior
Stock blue interior is being converted to black/tan. I have plans to bring all the modern creature comforts into it such as heated seats, Bluetooth etc. I want to try and emulate a modern day Lariat or King Ranch package in a way that would look like factory if it were available in 1984.
Exterior
Heavy duty winch bumper, winch died long ago unfortunately. I will replace it during the restoration. This came with factory power mirrors but they were damaged and removed before I realized how rare they were. I do have pics of them somewhere.
Suspension
Stock with 2 inch lift blocks, new shocks.
Wheel and Tire
Factory wheels from a late 90's Bronco. Tires are TBD...
