History
Purchased by first owner in 1966 as a 6-cylinder, three-on-the-tree. Owner's son swapped a 302 and "four" speed from a '70s Mercury when he went to college, as well as painted it black. Purchased by my father on Thanksgiving day, 1998, in order to restore and rebuild for my high school car.
Tore car down to body-only, completely new front suspension rebuild, repainted everything, new interior. Senior year in high school, we swapped the heads for ones with big valves, and installed a five-speed, as well as a locker in a Maverick center section.
A few years ago we swapped out the worn-out 302 for a 351W from a '75 Ranchero.
