Ok here is the deal with 4wpw. I bought stuff from them because they are cheap and I am definitely a cheap bastard. What I don't like is that the people they hire aren't the brightest in the world. Common sense dictates that if 4wpw sells a 6" lift kit with procrap shocks, then those procrap shocks have a part number. This bozo said that they didn't exist and that I was wrong. I asked for the number to procrap and did the rest myself. Oh yeah I also ordered black springs and they sent me red. 4WPW is fine as long as you know for sure EXACTLY what you need and preferably the manufacturers part number. DO NOT leave anything to their judgement.

To the contrary, when I called discount tire direct to order my wheels and tires, the guy noticed that I was ordering 8 lug wheels for a bronco and inquired to make sure that was right. Then he asked what the axles were out of so he could include the correct lug nuts. If 4wpw's reps were on the ball like that I would have no problems with them. mistakes don't bother me that much, everyone makes them. Incompetance does bother me, however, and there is no excuse for it.

Very well said, and I couldnt agree with you more.
Some of their sales people are a little shady, but I have seen those turds come and go quick because their manager is a hard nose SOB. Sux to work for, but good for customer service.

I will try that discount tire direct that souds awesome with all the freebies.

I wonder if they can custom order the same rims.....

Yeah. I looked and there is a retail store in SLC on S State street. Their number is (801)487-1797. America's tire and discount tire direct are the same company, so you can buy your tires online and have them serviced or waranteed at an americas tire location. Try that with tire rack. They also have a killer warranty that is 20 bones per tire and they will replace it no questions asked down to 2/32 tread. That means shoot em out after 40k miles and get new ones. This place is seriously awesome.

beerman, the problems with 4wpw arise when you place phone or internet orders. when you show up in person there seems to be a much better track record.
