Has anyone installed AC/heat in a 1978/1979 Bronco that did not come from the factory with it already? I'm wondering if the only good option would be an aftermarket kit like vintage air or something else, even though they are quite pricey... Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the info everyone. I actually don't own a 78-79 yet, but I am currently looking at a 78 and a 79 that are both for sale close by me. The plan is to build it from the ground up, as I have big plans for it. The 78 is a non AC and needs quarter panels and overall more body work. The 79 is more loaded with options and needs one quarter panel and floor pan work. I was just trying to plan ahead...
