I recently got a Transfer case boot from JBG and it doesnt fit well at all. So why does JBG sell 4 different boots for the 78-79's Three are priced at $30 and one is priced at $79, with no diffences listed in the descriptions?

Which one should I go with this time. Which one fits well? If you have any expirence please post up.

I just went to JBG web site and I only see three boots listed, two of which are for the transfer cases (new (P/N 21620) and original (P/N 21620A)) and a boot for the twin stick set up. Are you sure you ordered the right boot?

Yes, the right boot was ordered. I ordered 21620.

So the part number and prices for the boots are:

21620 $30
21620A $30
26038A $30
26038 $79

All of the above boots are listed for the 78-79 bronco

11590 $23 (twin Stick)

Obviously the twin stick boot is not for the stock application, but what is the difference between the other 4 boots and why do they all have the same picture?

I thought I would follow up on this for anyone else who is looking for a t-case boot. I got an e-mail back from JBG and they cleared things up. As I thought the three boots that are $30 are aftermarket boots, they all have different part numbers but they are the same boot. (These do not fit well at all)

The boot that is $79 is OEM so it "should" have a better fit. Even though some of the other aftermarket boots say OEM in their description.
