Well, I found something I didn´t know existed...a 100% metallic front grille for a 1980 model year truck.

Is this original or it´s an aftermarket part?

On the right a plastic-chromed one, on the left the metallic one

thats crazy....i can't imagine someone going to all the trouble of making a metal one.....i know the 78-79's were plastic.does it have any #s' stamped on it at all?

Nope...no ID label, that´s why I thought It wasn´t an original part...but on the other hand it looks weird to have an aftermarket part that is much more hard tu build than an original one

Hey! Sorry, didn´t see the last answer. Yeap, It´s something really strange. At a close look u can see there are details that can´t be the same as in the plastic one, but still it´s really well done. It´s kinda heavy, I don´t like that much, but it doesnt crack with a hit :thumbup
