Once upon a time, I had a 1986 XLT, 351W, Canyon Red interior. I had to sell it in 2004, and I cried. That day began a 15 year search for another, and I finally found it and brought it home. The interior is in great shape. Factory paint, no serious rust, same trim package and drivetrain as the one I used to own. Advertised as 186k miles, but based on the lack of floorboard and steering wheel wear, and the fact that it was garaged, it looks like 86k miles. It is as close as it comes, and it's pretty hard to find these in my area. I'm excited and overwhelmed at the same time, but what a great Christmas present to myself!

Welcome to FSB and congrats on the very nice lookin' Bullnose Bronco!

What do you have in store for it? I hope different wheels are in the plans. Sorry, just personal preference, but I just don't like directional wheels.

Different wheels at some point, but in terms of monetary priority, it is way down the list. Since they are currently functional, they are not an emergency.

1) Fix the rear end grinding noise
2) Address small oil leak
3) Several strange electrical issues
4) Find why steering is playful/loose
5) Clean up some interior component rust
......
20) Holley Sniper carb
......
99) Wheels, tires, suspension lift
100) Paint
