I have a 1988 Bronco XLT 351. When it is warm out, my fuel pump will intermittently work. When it does work, my Bronco will only start half the time. When it does work, it sometimes will randomly die, usually within the first 10 minutes. We have established it is NOT the tps, which we originally thought might be the issue. We are thinking it may be the Ignition Coil or the Distributor. We are fairly certain that we are losing spark. Any help is appreciated.

check the tfi module, its the gray module on the side of the distributor. Had the same exact thing happen with mine a while ago. Good luck!

Well if your fuel pump isnt working it isn't going to run.. when fuel is being delivered, if the tfi is bad or not grounding well, it will cause a no run condition until it cools off, then will work til it's hot then no run repeat scenario.
