with a haynes manual...
i was looking at mine the other day- im pretty sure youll need to take off the hub and all that. the lugs are part of the rotor... that threw me off at first too...

you have to remove the lock out...then remove the set of nuts that hold the hub to the spindle...once thats done you need to knock the wheel studs out...spin a lug nut about half way on and hit it with a hammer...the you have to separate the hub from the rotor...
thats the cliff notes version.

knocked all lugs out i get a little movement and seperation from the rotor but thats about it. its about 1/2 an inch of space than it wont let me go any further. thanks for all your help oh and is there a special tool that i need????

hit a couple more times... if that doesnt work... get a bigger hammer...
did you try prying on it? if i were doing it- id probably put my foot on the hub/lock out area and pull on the rotor... but thats probably dangerous or something...

the lugs are all seperated from the hum and seem to be in the rotor now. when i look deep int the hub lock which i think is the four wheel drive switch that i took apart i see some more mechanical parts deep inside. this is so wierd the rotor is almost an inch away from the hub but its like something is really blocking it thanks for all your help. I will send you pics when i get a new battery charger

ive taken out everything but there seems to be something in there about 4inches and if i am to remove something that deep than i think i wuld need a special tool. the hub spins freely with out the rotor. thanks for the help
