So it looks like it’s a one sided thing. I know that on my 88 I had a HEGO orange ground wire that came straight out of the computer so I’m assuming that this is the same only this one faces the front of the engine. The other one I mounted on the firewall but this one is facing the other direction. I was thinking somewhere on the lower intake. Just wasn’t sure if that’s a good enough material to ground to?Where’s the other end of it, firewall? A good place could be at the top of the support brace for the upper intake plenum.
Awesome thank you. Appreciate it.It should be. You could also ground it possibly to a water pump stud, valve cover stud, probably doesn’t matter much where it goes, so long as the contact is clean.
it’s not this is it?That wire in your hand goes to a stud that holds the right hand injector wiring harness. In your picture it’s at the 9 O-Clock position of the circle you drew touching the red line.
No, I was talking about the yellow that I circled in the picture above. That part mounts to the valve covers with 2 studs. The wire in your hand is sandwiched between the securing nut and another one above it. I don’t see the studs in your picturesit’s not this is it? View attachment 182861
Ooh gotcha. Didn’t even realize that. Thank you 👍🏻View attachment 182863
