I am a believer in the term "if it ain't broke don't fix it" but I was inspecting my rear brakes and I noticed one axle is newer than the other.

This is the passenger side:

This is the drivers side:

Should I be concerned? I don't notice anything with driveablility or noises. I am just wondering why someone would have to change one and not both axles.

Just looking for some thoughts.

Thanks

Yea don't worry about it, maybe the guy hit a curb or stripped the splines or otherwise screwed up the axle. Just be glad it was fixed and not "Rigged by Jethro"
