i have recently acquired a 1996 Bronco with an interesting problem. any time it rains or is even damp outside, the engine wont start. dry warm weather and it starts every time. the previous owner had spent several thousand dollars trying to remedy the problem. even the local Ford dealer could not figure it out. once it starts i have hosed down the engine compartment and driven it through a car wash with under chassis spray and it still ran. a code does set that suggests the ignition module circuit is faulty, but this has been checked and the previous owner installed a new module and pick-up. anyone ever had a similar problem? thanks

My 96 F150 did this. Took a while to realize it was weather related, then looked right to the plug wires, had a chafe in them, when it was damp, spark energy was leaking to ground.
