since the 20-6244 pump is unavailable has anyone tried this pump 20-6999.

You need the same adapter plate or I would assume the saginaw mounting bracket to replace you existing bracket..

Does any know about where to find the adapter plate?

I have happen to come across a power steering pump that seem to replace this one except for the fittings... if the adapter plate could be located.

the Cardone part # is 20-6999.

From Cardone Rep.
The pressure on the 20-6244 is 1080 to 1320 PSI, the housings are the same so you can bolt the bracket up. These are the same rotation. The fitting can be switched.

The 20-6999 has a pressure of 1280 to 1550 PSI...

I was wondering if a couple hundred PSI would create a problem or if anyone has tried this...?

20-6999 won't work without a lot of fab work, just get the correct bracket off a van and then you can use the standard saginaw pump

bracket...

will a 351 windsor bracket work from a 86 e250? for 351 modified 79 Bronco...??

I might have a bracket from a 74 Gran torino that had a "I think a Saginaw in it" with a 351M in it...

And if I get a saginaw bracket is there a saginaw power steering part # that works better for 4wd Bronco...?
