im tryin to figure out wich trans is behind my rangers 3.0 v6. so far i think its the 4R44E. but im not sure. problem is its shifts HORRABLY. slipping 1st to 2nd, super hard from 2nd to 3rd. im basicly lookin for a shift kit/ trans pack for it. maybe something from b&m. also considdering converting it to a floor shift. maybe a light truck megashifter, but i realy need to find out what trans i got. the truck is a 2000 3.0v6 auto 2wd.


im thinkin the added power it has from, the reprograming( had no trans settings), chip, CAI, and exaust may have something to do with it. this was just all recently done within the the past 3wks.

this should be a few years old, but my 02 still has the 5r55e, so i think thats the one u got too, mine slips pretty good rite now as well

ok ty i looked at the door plate, it its got trans code T. so i do got a 4R44E
