I have this small metal tube fitting at the base of my carb that keeps popping out. This line heads to the driver side pvc valve on the valve cover. Can this metal tube just be glued in?

Remove the tube, and use carb cleaner to clean the hole out and the tube. Use red loctite on the outer surface of the tube and slide it in. Cap the tube, since loctite cures in the absence of oxygen.

After a day or so, try it. If that dont work, JB Weld it is!

Another idea is to try to slightly expand that end of the tube to make a tighter fit. Slide it over a larger drift punch, and use a socket and hammer to beat it down the cone of the punch to expand the one end a bit.
