Hey All!

Last year @OX1 , @reptillikus , and I all had just finished various degrees of work to our rigs and wanted to shake them down before the MEB Bronco Round Up in June. We decided to meet up and hit Rausch Creek for a test trip, and it was WET. You can read about the trip HERE.

This year, we're looking to change it up and explore AOAA instead. We went as a group this Fall, and there's quite a bit of trails we still need to cover there. The plan is to meet there the morning of April 22nd, and hopefully enjoy a day of much drier wheeling than last time. For this trip, we decided to post it on the open forum in case anyone else wants to join in. AOAA has a variety of trails ranging in difficulty, so no matter how your trucks set up, you can find one that fits what you want to do.

Here's the link to our AOAA trip this past fall to see a little bit of the park.

Its a good time, but its not for the faint of heart! Ox with his portal axles & stickies make most trails look easy. And then Joe has this monster truck that just lumbers down the trail over top of everything. You gotta bring your A-game to wheel with these guys!

I wouldn't go with these guys, they wheel too crazy for me. I think I even got a dent last time out. :p
(JOKE, for any that don't know me).
No dents last time, but i scratched my paint and got mud on my seat

Awe... That sounds like so much fun... But probably way too intense for my street queen 🙁
Get some other "stockers" to go. We can meet up and shoot the crap in the morning, then split off into two groups.
Plenty of easier trails that even a totally stock FSB could have fun on and they are usually real open, no pin stripes from the woods.

I will make one of these trips one of these days. I thought I would be ready by now. I'm just slow.

One thing we do need is more pics, someone needs to take a camera man/woman.

No matter what, it always takes more time than expected when working on these things.
As for pictures, we don’t have a ton but @reptillikus and myself have some videos from our last few trips out.

Yeah me & Ox are bad for stopping to take pics or video.

You have to be one insane driver in a killer rig to keep up with these two. Luckily my Broncos really big and noisy, so it's easy for them to notice when I get stuck and disappear from the group.

While I'm stuck is when I get the best documentation of the trip. We've been out a few times together and I'm lucky if I get a few pictures of the back of their Broncos throughout the whole day.

One time rep and I, to make it more interesting on easier trails, limited ourselves to either RWD or FWD only (locked or not,
our twin stick 205's can due FWD only if you want). LOT of RPM that day, fun stuff.

I’m hoping now after sorting out a few kinks and doing a few upgrades that I’ll be able to keep up a bit better. The new 44s are actually a couple inches bigger than the 43s I was running, and have like 2 inches more of tread width per tire. Hopefully with that extra clearance and a bit more traction and a locker in the rear, it’ll help. My biggest issue is typically just getting hung up on my rear diff. That or just not fitting well in spots.
