Allright, has anyone else had this issue?

I swapped to EFI manifolds on a 300-6 in an 86 F-150. The alternator bolt goes from rear to front where it then threads into the mounting bracket.

My bolt will now no longer fit from the back, the head hits the front manifold before it's at shallow enough of an angle to feed through the rear boss of the alternator bracket.

I don't recall seeing this issue in any of the writeups I've seen, so just checking.

This is occasionally an issue depending on the year or the carb'd engine (I think around the 84 - 86 mark). I didn't have the issue, but I know plenty of others that have.
From what I've heard, you just need to use a grinder to take a little material off of the exhaust manifold to clear the bolt. Doesn't hurt anything.

Do you have any pics of the issue?

Nah, just through drilled the threads, ran the bolt from the front and used a nut it the back.
