Does any one know if the manifolds (upper and lower) are the same for the 302 and 351??? Are the heads diferent. I have a 302 now but my buddy is giving me a 351 block for free. I work at a parts store w/ a complete machine shop...so if the goodies were all the same the swap would be rather cheap.

The heads are not the same. They will bolt-on but 351 head have larger holes. ARP makes a bolt kit with a larger shaft to transfer 351 heads to a 302. Bolting 302 heads to a 351 would require you to drill out the head bolt holes. No problem in your machine shop.

I thought the heads were also taller on a 351

Yes, deck height is taller and the block is wider so exhaust would have to be modified too!
