So I decided to buy a 86 Bronco with a shitty engine and swap it out with the 302 out of my 89 f150.
Come to find out the 86 bronco had a 94 302 installed.
The swap worked out just fine until I tried to start the sucker.
Won't start! So I start troubleshooting.
I have spark to the plugs, wired correctly.
All grounds are connected as best I know.
Then I checked the fuel system and figured out my fuel-pump was not priming and pressurizing the system.
Checked inertia switch, it's in position but not getting power.
So here's what I did. I put in a new wiring harness which didn't help so I bypassed the fuel-pump relay with a toggle switch.
Now I have spark and fuel pressure, but the damn thing still won't start.
Don't think it makes a difference but I will try to swap the brains out today and see what that does.
I'm starting to get frustrated and would appreciate anything anybody might think of.
