I've got a 351M out of a '78 bronco with only 60,000 miles on it, ... BUT it needs a new crank and bearings. What's keeping me from buying an OEM 400M crank and putting it in there? Thanks!

Thats funny and true got into that can of worms last December, found a crank then needed a harmonic balancer and so on and on spent about 4 grand so far looks and sounds great and the power well sure beats the old 351m 2 barrel....its worth it .....get your parts together before you start would be my recomendation so it doesent drag on and good luck

Maybe its the fact that a 460 fits in there nicely and you can get a core 460 for the same price as a 400 crank.:thumbup
