I just got my engine rebuilt I had it converted to a 400 and I need a new timing cover because its pitted and I don't want any leaks after I put it all together .my neighbor is telling me that the timing cover for a 351w is the same as the 351m/400.Is this right? If not anyone know where to get one for under 130$.:beer

Same cubes. but different motors all together as far as I know?
But you can use the 400's crank to stroke a Windsor with some machine work to the nose
I am going to go out and look to be sure, I have both out in the garage

Yep they are different

351w / 351m 2 entirely different engines.

you can use a 351m crank with the correct rods and pistons in a 351w for stroker applications such as 408/410

Broncomania, I thought that would not work ?

Being that they both have the same stroke?

I thought they have the same lenght rod as well ? please tell me more ??

I was hoping to take my 351m and my 351W and combine the two

I want to put the M's heads on the Windsor's block and make a clevor
and I was hoping to use the crank to stroke it as well?
but all the info I found for strokin it said 400 crank? ( haha I said Strokin it:histerica:rofl:)
but I kept everything anyways so if you got any info on this Please ,Do Tell!
I would like to hear it. Thanks
