trying to get the 351w to start

there is two cables that go into the coil on the plug for it...the black one on the right Y's off and has a foot and a half long 18ish guage black wire coming off it...where does this go?????/i thought it was a ground...definatly not...

anyone know

i think its a noise filter, but im not sure, your 91 is prob. wired different than my 85
