Alright now I have a 1990 FSB 302 AOD. The 302 needs rebuilt it is going to cost $800-$1000. The machine shop has a 351w already done. They told me they would give it to me for the bill which is in the same price range. I am probably going to buy the 351w. My ? Is what do I need besides a ECU out of a FSB with SD, AOD,and 351w. Also a flex plate a 351w distributor and wires.

$800-1000 sounds waaayy cheap for a properly rebuilt motor. I'd question what they consider "rebuilt".

Others would know better on the other stuff for a swap.

What about the Intake Manifold, Fuel Rail & Exhaust Manifold/Y-Pipe?

About all I can think of that you can use off your 302 is the valve covers, dist cap, rotor, plug wires and sensors. All the other stuff is engine specific.
