What have anybody else used to grind the alternator bracket? I was trying to figure out how to get the bracket out and notice the airpump bolt at the bottom edge of the bracket would be a royal bitch to remove. So do you grind it still attached to the block or do you remove it? and what did you use ?

I used a grinder on it while it was in place. I also had to take a little off the bottom of the top part as well; the top of the alternator body hit it too, after I ground out the triangle at the botttom.
