Dana 44 3.92/up 30 spline '71-present (without "c"-clips)
AUB542082 $412.99

4.56 Ratio
G/GD44-456R $139.99

Dana 44 master install kit
G/G35-2033 $87.99

Add this up...$640 not including tax....or labor to install.

what I'm offering....
a complete ready to install Dana 44 TTB "third" with 4.56 gears and an Auburn Limited Slip traction aid.

it has worked well in my rig for about 10- 12K miles...IIRC. How many of those are actual OFF ROAD/in-use miles? not even 1K.
I'm just getting ready to swap out the front for a D60...and can't use this in that axle.

I may be willing to do the swap for you if you are close...but we can negotiate a deal on that separately...

What kind of offers can I hear? Rather let someone here get 'em, But I can't give them away as I still need to reduce out of pocket (cost recovery) for the 60/14 swap.

Prefer not to have to eBay this...so I'll give it some time here first.

I'm not exactly sure what to ask for it...

but it is relatively new (milage wise) so what is it worth to you? (not lowballin')

XLT, if you get something worked out with loco (BUY IT FROM HIM!!), pm me and we can work something out for the minispool - assuming you aren't wanting it anymore at that point.

My two cents. Ebay Auction.
I paid $400.00 shipped for a Dana 44 3rd member with new Auburn limited slip, new bearings, new 4.11 gears. Less than 1500 miles.

That sounds low. I'd say somewhere around 500 dollars for a starting point would be reasonable. You don't have to setup gears, don't have to install anything really, and you're getting the components which you KNOW will work for less then what it costs to just buy them outright.

500 bucks is a good deal but I am on a school budget. I can get gears for 170 and an open carrier and use my mini. A friend from my 4x4 club is going to help put the lift and gears in.
