Im trying to find a set of exhaust manifolds for my 460, are all of the non efi 85 and down 429/460 manifolds the same?

i have seen two different styles on ebay one that has heat disapating ridges, and ones that are smooth. anyone know if there are any other differences in the two besides the rigdes? they are going on a 1973 block and heads

No, the first positon is the decade designation -

C=60s
D=70s
E=80s
F=90s

The second position is the year of the decade - D7=1977.

The third position is what you wanna look at. T=truck. All others are cars. [A=Ford, D=Falcon, V=Lincoln...yada yada yada.]

The fourth position is the engineering group. A=chassis, B=body and E=Engine.

You want something with a T as the third digit in the casting number. Clear as mud? :toothless
