Alright, here is the deal. When I bought my bronco it had a 460 and C6. I dropped out the C6 and put in a T-18. When I did this I had/have trouble with the clutch linkage and cross member mount lining up. It seems that the motor is sitting about two inches too low. The clutch linkage that bolts to the frame and the piece that bolts on with the bell housing just dont line up. They are both idiot proof so I know thats not the problem. Any one ever had this problem before.

previously they probably used the wrong engine mounts or stands.

common problem when using L&L mounts or 390 mounts or most aftermarket mounts for that matter

bet it has the wrong radiator and fan as well

only one set of mounts I know of that line up correctly that can be bought

or you can make your own stuff to try and line up the engine like it should

I actually tried to send you a PM about your perches, but your box was full

I was thinking about trying yours or the mounts from west coast bronco

You are aware the Z-bar bracket from an f-series is different from the Bronco bracket? The frames are an inch different in height.

emptied my pm box, currently have one set left in stock and for some reason half of another set :scratchhe

every Z bar bracket on the frame I have ever messed with was the same in every way shape and form

bronco and f150 share the same configuration on the front part of the frame

F250s even use that same bracket

engine brackets vary with engine series

FE has their own
335/385 has their own
Windsors has their own
6cyl typically uses a stud

no difference in frame height in that location on any of the frames :popc1:

I would of stucked with the C6 man. Especially if you would used yer Bronco mudding or offroad.

460 and C6= easy swap...ESPECIALLY if the Bronco had a 351m in it.

Bronco and F250 Z-bar frame brackets look a little different to me...
