Not a bad pump to do, but you need the special tools to remove the fan clutch before removing the pulley. Suggestion: remove the temp gauge sender
so that air will escape as you pour in the coolant. Then replace it, finish filling
to 1 inch of the filler neck, place the cap on (but DON'T tighten it all the way, only to the first notch), start the engine, and hold the engine speed at 2000 rpm until the thermostat opens, then top off and cap. You might want to consider also changing the t-stat and cap when you do the pump as a
preventative maintenance measure. Good luck!
