I'm swapping my AOD for an M5OD. The truck was originally a 5 speed, but the last owner put in the AOD. Now I'm changing it back... it looks like the original driveshafts remained on the truck, judging by how compressed and extended they seem, respectively with the AOD that's in there now. Assuming they are not original 5speed driveshafts, will I need different length shafts after the swap?

I checked my JBG catalog and for front driveshafts (compressed length):
AOD: 34-3/4"
5spd: 35-13/16" (1.06" difference)
Rear:
AOD:31.5"
5spd: 29-1/8" (2.37" difference)

Is this too much of a stretch for the shafts in there to make? Any help is appreciated as I'm starting this project next week and would like to keep costs to a minimum.

When I did my AOD to M5OD swap I was able to reuse my factory rear drive shaft. It wasn't until I swaped in the long pinion 10.25 did I have to replace it. The front from what I recall wasn't a problem either. I swapped that out as well though for my 60 swap.
