[Gub_Ni]

I have a d44 front with stock length radius arms, I have a shim under the front of the lower spring mount and a u bolt on the backside of the upper coil tower. With these the springs have little or no bow. I recently installed 7* C bushings instead of 4* bushings I had. I also replaced the frame mount bushings and lubed them with anti-seize and wristed the pass arm. Anyway after getting back from my first trail ride since then (never took the bolt out of the wristed arm) I find my shock bashed in and paint missing from my spring. What happened and how do I prevent it from occuring again?

well your spring must have bent and hit your shock.

no realy there is a thread on here that broke cuz wheelin did. and he fixed it. search for springs or flex

could you take it out some where and flex it and get out and look to see whats hitting.

Maybe the smaller diameter arch the stock length arms have is causing the spring to bow backwards when compressed:shrug
