I just saw an article on FourWheeler about a 77 Bronco, the owner managed to mount a bolt on(like the diesel mounting) 6g alternator on his 302...is there a bracket for that?

the 3G is one of the best alternators out there and can be had in many different amp levels, not sure why there would be a need for a 6G. but that's just my .02 cents.

shame thats the only pic of the engine bay in that article.

ya that looks like a Explorer 5.0 accessories set. i can recognize the bracket for remote reservoir for the original power steering on the other side.


the Explorers technically used a 135amp 4G alternator but its almost the same exteriour as the 3G that the late broncos use.

what are you trying to put it on?
