Had a chance to look over my rig after the outing last weekend. Not too much damage, but a few oddball things that I was surprised by. And finishing off my trans, but that was on borrowed time....

Hopefully I'll be pulling that this weekend!

Not my update, but a friend of an earlier previous owner of my Bronco just sent me this (2007 era). Cool to see the truck being used 15 years ago.

Ideally you want as little as possible hanging down and getting in the way of the rocks.
I've made many small mods and compromises to make a dedicated crawler, out of a full size rig.

I don't want to clutter up your build thread with all that stuff, but even little things like raising rear
axle lower shock mounts above bottom of axle tube (and making a new higher set up for rear upper shocks
mounts to maintain shock travel) helps so much by not getting hung up.
