So, a while ago, I had a small fire in the engine bay that fried a small portion of the Spark Plug wires 5-8. I replaced all 8 wires and when I was turning over the key, I noticed that I was leaking gas from the accelerator lever on the front of the Carburetor. I tried turning it over once more and as I opened the throttle, I heard a boom like single gun shot being fired. Any advice???

You need to rebuild the carburetor. The accelerator pump diaphragm or a seal melted most likely. The gunshot was a backfire, which may have ruptured the power valve in the carb.

The engine itself is likely fine.

I'd also check the distributor insides for any melting.
