i found a 79 bronco down the street from my shop today and was wondering if $4900 is worth it to buy it. It has a 6 inch lift with 35 inch baja claws. what do yall think. ill try to post some pics of it later tomorrow its too dark now.

Is this one you'd be using for the axle swap? If it is, pass on it, and look for a derelict

depends on options and body. No rust?? yes. 351...Helps. do YOU like it? that's all that matters

351 helps? you mean 351 hurts, no windsors in the 70's BB's. Just M engines. Doesnt really matter either way, if its a 400m then youre just a bit luckier.

i'd say unless it's near perfect with rediculously low miles $2500-3000 tops. If it's beat or the tires are bald pass.

Id pay that much for any 78-9 bronco as long as it was in good shape, low miles, runs. My 78 is in really good shape for a 78 besides a rusted hole about 4" long in the right rear fender and there are no door panels on the inside, just rolled over 200K miles, guage lights need to be replaced, and could use new seats :toothless
