New to the group here.
I've had a 79 Bronco for almost 4 years. Got her painted this summer and took the side mirrors off and now need to put 'em back on.
The ones I have, have rounded mounting brackets that a plastic half round piece fits into between the door and the mirror assembly. I just need a couple of these plastic pieces. Can't seem to get a straight answer whether these are the original stock mirrors or an aftermarket replacement. The holes don't match up on the similar looking ones with flat mounts which are sold at Kragen and say
1980-96, and don't really want to re-drill since it was just painted.
Who's got some expertise they want to lend me? Thanks!
