Hi,
Just got this 79 about a month ago to pick up boats for my business, now Im in love with it. I always had Chevys but this this thing is totally bomb proof.
I might need some help with some smog crap...blahh,it runs breat but some hoses are disconnected. I got a great deal and its pretty sweet and all new interior. I want to do the engine right, oh how can I tell if its a 351 w or 351 c?
:)

Welcome to FSB ~ :thumbup

A few good Tech Help sources would be:
FSB ~ search above, offers tons of DIY threads and pictures but you may
have to "wade" thru them a bit but it's FREE
FSB ~ Forum page for your year BKO
www.broncolinks.com ~ another great source of helpfull info
www.supermotors.net ~ sister site, join Free etc.
www.broncograveyard.com ~ for earlier BKO parts..

It shouldn't be either of those engines unless it has been changed. Only motor options were a 351M or a 400 (8 valve cover bolts) only way to tell the difference is to measure the stroke.
