I figured this would have been asked before, but I searched and dident find a thing on fronts.......I am going wheeling in a couple weeks in Kentucky and i despiratly need a lift and my old man has an extra set of 3" lift springs for his 79 F-150 and I was wondering if I could get these to fit. This would only be a temporary fix as I have a SAS waiting to undergo when my arm is healed up and the pins are removed. If it helps i have all the sas parts so if the upper spring mounts could be used I do have that option. Any help would I would be greatful for:rockon

Don't believe they will. The lower end of the spring has a tighter coil for the ttb retainer compaired to the lower solid 44 mount.

nope the bottom of your ttb coil is tapered a 79 coil is straight thats why the ttb coil bucket has the one bolt with the big washer in the center

Thanks for the help..... I guess I dident analyze as well as I thought
I wonder if there is a way to adapt the 79 lower to the TTB or make some sort of adapter????? Im going to have to check when I get home

A guy on here with the screen name Meixter ( I think that's right) has done it. He used 79 upper coil buckets and I can't remember what he did on the bottom. He has a very nice write up in his supermotors. Search the members list for his screen name.
