Does anyone know the link to that web site that did a write up a full floater conversion for our 8.8's?
I know i read it some time ago but my search didnt find anything.

I would just go by the kit from Warn..click here .I'm not a mechanical genius but it looks pretty easy to me.

I have to correct myself, I think that info is old, I'm not sure if warn still makes the kit for the 8.8 any more..

Wasn't there a problem with leaking,and they couldn't handle a side load?

Yeah, I found that after I did the search..They seem to have been discontinued.

Thanks, i was trying to get some data from it for my research.

I thought that someone had posted a link to a web site of a guy that biult up his own 8.8 and converted it himself to a full floater.

i think its been done by bastardising a 9" full floater conversion, but i'm not sure. i know its been posted, but i can't find it.

OMG that is some sweet fab.........and that is the biggest waste of time I've ever seen. Talk about polishing a turd!

It was the c-clip eliminators that couldn't handle side load. Not sure on the ff kit, that also seems like throwing good money after bad.

i thought that was the problem with the c-clips. :shrug
so whats the purpose of the eliminator kit?
