If you have spark and you have fuel at the fuel rail, your missing something very small that is making a big difference.scapuchino said:I tried as I could today and still no luck. I have fuel pressure. I have spark. It almost turns on with starting fluid, but it shuts off right away. Send me a pick of where you found the wire. And also I would appreciate a pick of your engine compartment to compare with mine. I may end up having another engine installed at the local bone yard. At least you got your started.
What's your fuel pressure at the rail?
Starting fluid is torture on gasoline and diesel engines. I would try to diagnose your problem a bit further than squirting ethanol in your motor everytime you want it to start.
Do you have a mulitmeter to start checking grounds? Rust on these things is eventually going to cause a bad ground.
